This meditative video art was filmed during a lockdown period using equipment and materials on hand. Having gone through a recent spiritual awakening, I resonated with some qualities of the caribou totem —resilience, strength, resourcefulness, determination and the ability to find your way home (physically and emotionally). These served as an inspiration to create the piece –metaphoric visuals and sound bytes to capture the essence of the human spirit’s journey to rebirth.
